What is my security deposit for?
The security deposit is generally refundable, but it may not be returned in full if there are damages to the apartment beyond normal wear and tear, or if there are any outstanding charges or unpaid rent at the time of move-out. It's always a good idea to ensure the apartment is in good condition and all dues are cleared before moving out.
What is the application process?
What is the application process?
We evaluate payment and credit history using a tool that typically provides decisions within 24 hours. There isn't a minimum credit score requirement, but in some cases, a bond or higher deposit may be required. Income is verified and must be 3x the monthly rent. Government issued identification (State DL, ID or Passport) and Social Security Card must be presented for verification. Additionally, criminal background checks are part of the application process. Co-signers are accepted for those who don't meet income standards or require higher deposits. They must have an income of 4x the rent and approved credit. Rental history is verified and expected to be positive.Â
What is Flex?
Flex is a payment system we partner with that pays your rental installment on the first, and you pay the rest back throughout the month (think: Afterpay, but for your rent!). Learn more at getflex.com.
