If you want to live close to Indianapolis but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle of a large city, Millersville is the place for you. The neighborhood lies northeast of the city, just 12 short minutes from downtown Indianapolis when driving. Millersville is a large village tucked away in the Fall Creek Valley. It consists of several smaller neighborhoods, but the village is a close-knit community offering a variety of special events. Residents enjoy walking and biking the Fall Creek Trail, which leads to Fort Benjamin Harrison State Park.
Millersville can also be a great home to people who love being surrounded by nature. The many lakes here such as Lake Kesslerwood and Mallard Lake add beauty to the neighborhood and encourage residents to go out and explore the land. A group called Millersville at Fall Creek Valley Inc. has set out to help preserve and promote the natural beauty and history of the neighborhood.
